Top ten authors I've read the most books from

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely girls at The Broke and the Bookish. This Tuesday it's all about our favorite authors, or just authors we've read a lot of books from!
I don't have that many favorite authors, so I have a lot of authors I've read a couple of books from.

Cathy Hopkins (13)
I read the entire Mates, Dates series with my friends when we were younger and since it's a pretty big series she's my most read author. (Except from Robert Kirkman but graphic novels are not books!)

J.K. Rowling (12)
Well, I've read the entire Harry Potter series, and the 3 extra books as well as two of her adult books: The Cuckoo's Calling and The Casual Vacancy

Dan Brown (6)
I've read all of Dan Browns books and I can honestly say that The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons are my favorites and Deception Point and Inferno are probably my least favorites!

John Green (5)
I mentioned that I'd read every book he'd written except from Paper Towns in another post and that is still the case!

Rick Riordan (5)
I read the entire Percy Jackson and the Olympians series in 2013-14 and I don't plan on reading his other series. I enjoyed PJO but I'm not that interested in his other books.

Stephenie Meyer (5)
Well, I've read the entire Twilight series (I've read Twilight twice) and I've read The Host. I've also read some of the deleted scenes and extra stories she's written.

Sarah J. Maas (4)
Sarah J. Mass is an author I've heard about for a long time but I read my first book by her this year and so far there's only a single book by her that I haven't read. A Court of Thorns and Roses is definitely my favorite by her but her Throne of Glass series is great as well!

Rainbow Rowell (4)
I read my first book by Rainbow Rowell on a whim, I didn't know what to read so I began Attachments and I knew I had to read her other books. So I read all of them. I managed to read Fangirl in a matter of days and even though I did enjoy Eleanor & Park it's definitely not my favorite book by her. It's a tie between the other 3 she's written.

Teri Terry (4)
I've read her Slated series, which is such a great series! But a couple of months ago I read Mind Games by her and it's definitely my favorite book from her, it's so epic and I wish she'd written a series instead of a standalone

Eden Maguire (4)
I don't even know what to say. I read the Beautiful Dead series before I started blogging and I mainly read it because they had all the books home at the library. It's not even that great a series...

Which authors do I need to check out?

  1. I've heard of Cathy Hopkins when I was in 5th grade. Our grade school library has like a 1 full shelf of her works, but I haven't gotten into reading it because the cover was sooooo girly, when I was a bit of haters of anything girly back then. Lol. I wondered why! =))

And hmm, ACOTAR you say??? LET'S FANGIRL, HUN!!! It's freakinly my favorite read of this year, and until now I still never forget the feels it gave me. So awessuuuum! <3

And all works of Rainbow Rowell? That's cool. I only read Fangirl and Eleanor & Park. Dem feels. I ship these book couples so hard! <333

And for reading Green, Rowling, Meyer, and Riordan.. Cool picks, AmandaEmma! :D

Fiona of A Girl Between the Pages

    1. Well, I wouldn't recommend reading Cathy Hopkins when you're older but my friends and I loved them in 7th and 8th grade!

After reading More Than This by Jay McLean I have a tie for the best book of the year. I love both ACOTAR and More Than This and I just can't decide which one is better. You need to read More Than This!

Eleanor & Park is my least favorite of her books, Landline, Fangirl and Attachments are tied! I just love her books!

  2. thank you for an interesting list! I´ve read Dan Brown, John Green , J. K. Rowling and seen a Twilight film.
    happy reading!

  3. Ooooo nice list. J.K.Rowling made my list too! I've also read John Green, Rick Riordan, Stephenie Meyer and Rainbow Rowell, but not enough of any to have made my list this week. I've always struggled with Dan Brown, my brains not smart enough to keep up with all the big words! :(

    1. I think trying to read Dan Brown again would be a smart choice! They are so good!
I'm glad to hear you've read some of the authors on my list!

  4. I read The Da Vinci Code and LOVED IT. Totally mind-blowing. Getting my hands on the other books is definitely high on my list of things to-do (hopefully). My TBR is never ending!! Awesome list :)

    1. I'm so happy to hear! I had the exact same reaction even though I've read it multiple times! I think Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code are his best books! Hope you enjoy them once you read them!
      I know how you feel!

  5. J.K Rowling made my list. A lot of the authors on your list I really want to read especially John Green.

    1. A year or two ago I'd probably say you were missing out but I really think Green's books are mediocre - I do hope you enjoy them if/when you read his books!

  6. Great list! I share J.K. Rowling with you, though I've only read her Harry Potter series. I've read John Green & Stephanie Meyer and prefer John Green, though I did enjoy 'The Host'. My partnr loves Dan Brown's books, I really ought to read them!

Check out my Top Ten Tuesday list!

Also, please take the time to enter my giveaway!

    1. Thanks! I have no idea whom I prefer out of Meyer and Green but I definitely prefer The Host and TFIOS out of all of their books!
I hope you enjoy Dan Brown if/when you read his books!

  7. So many really awesome authors on here, you have truly excellent taste in books! Great list!
