Sunday Post : Nothing much, to be honest

Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. To be brutally honest: this week was not eventful at all - nothing happened. I stayed at home watching TV and wrote the occasional blog post - I didn't even read. So, we'll skip the 'books read' part this time! But let's look at the rest.

Posts and other happenings this week

• My first post this week was a review of More Than This (More Than #1) by Jay McLean
• I then of course had my Top Ten Tuesday; Top ten books that would be on my syllabus if I taught fairytale retellings 101
• Wednesday was a tag, to be specific; the 'I mustache you some questions' tag
• A quite rewarding post came on Thursday in the form of a blog award: Blog Award : Sisterhood of the World
• Friday was of course another meme; book beginning: All of the Above by James Dawson - a book I read and loved this month. 
• Saturday brought another review: Because You'll Never Meet Me by Leah Thomas 
• I signed up as a tour host at a bunch of different blog tour companies
• I organized a bunch of things like; checklists for certain posts and my blog planner
• I've been thinking about writing a lot. After reading All of the Above I feel quite inspired. 

Upcoming posts and events

• Tomorrow I have my august - or ARC August wrap up
• Tuesday is Top Ten Tuesday as always - this time the characters I didn't click with
• Wednesday brings my reading que for September (TBR) and a cover reveal! 
• Since Monsters by Emerald Fennell comes out on Thursday I have a review scheduled! 
• On Friday I'll share a beginning from an October release by Ginger Scott! 
• Saturday will bring an excerpt from Gut Feeling by Victoria Browne 
• and Sunday will of course be another Sunday Post - with a bunch of news hopefully
• Well, I start uni on Tuesday! Wish me luck!

Sunday Post : ARC August, freetime and relaxing!

I really like making these Sunday Posts! In fact I just love making wrap ups! I love having these posts  where I can look back at what I made in that year/month/week - it's so nice and sometimes you stumble across something you'd forgotten about!
Since I still have a week before I go back to school I've just been relaxing, watching TV and written a bunch of posts! But let's go a bit more into detail:


ARC August update
I haven't read that much this week, so this will be quite a short update:

I also began reading All of the Above by James Dawson and it's really good! On Friday I shared the beginnings of both Gut Feeling and Third Time Lucky - The Honey Trap, you can find the post here.

Posts you've might have missed and other things that've happened this week

• On Monday I posted a review and giveaway of The Violet Hour (The Violet Hour #1) by Andrea L. Wells. I absolutely loved the book and Andrea is just the sweetest person! 
• As usual I participated in Top Ten Tuesday on Tuesday. This time it was all about our top ten auto-buy authors and this was a hard list to make for me!
• Then I had a guest post! The author of Molly Lee - Andrew Joyce - stopped by to talk about Molly Lee and give away two copies of his book
• Then I had another review! Black Cairn Point by Claire McFall - I really enjoyed it! 
• On Friday I had my book beginning and Victoria Browne, the author of Gut Feeling and Third Time Lucky - The Honey Trap, let me share the beginning of both of her books! 
• The last post this week was a post about series - all the series I won't finish! 
• I updated my review archive! I had to delete the old ones since I couldn't edit the colors (it kept on being yellow) and I also updated all my reviews to the new design. I have quite a lot of posts so I still have a lot to update but at least all my reviews are updated now! 
• Nicolette @ A Read-aholic nominated me for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award! 

What to look forward to in the coming week

• Tomorrow I have another review for you! I read More Than This last week and absolutely loved it so I wanted to share my thoughts with you as soon as possible and tomorrow it is! 
• The Top Ten Tuesday this week is going to be the top ten books which would be on our syllabus if we taught x 101 - and I've chosen fairy tale retellings! So there's going to be 10 of my favorite fairytale retellings this week
• I have a tag coming on Wednesday. Theepika @ It's Theepika tagged me to do the 'I Mustache You Some Questions' tag 
• On Thursday I'll talk a bit about reading nonfiction - how to do it right! 
• Lastly I'll have another review, this time of one of my most anticipated reads of 2015: Because You'll Never Meet Me by Leah Thomas.
• Next week is my last week off before I start University and even though I like having a bunch of freetime I also can't wait to start school again!

Sunday Post : ARC August and giveaways!

I am really enjoying making these Sunday Posts, unfortunately I forget about them until it's actually Sunday so I have to make my post in a hurry! As usual my week haven't been that eventful but of course stuff happened! 

First we'll make a ARC August update. I feel like I'm doing pretty well but I've marked 4 books as DNF so far for different reasons.

I shared the beginning of both The Monkey's Secret and More Than This on Friday, if you're interested you can check them out here. 

I also began Trouble is a Friend of Mine by Stephanie Tromly, I'm currently 100 pages in and I'm loving it so far! 

Since I read 5 books this week it takes my total of books read this month up to 11 so far! I only have 4 books left on netgalley and 4 physical books left including Trouble is a Friend of Mine. I can definitely clear out all of my review books this month!

• I shared my thoughts on Taking Leaps and Finding Ghosts on Monday, I really enjoyed the book and you can read the review here
• As usual I shared a Top Ten list on Tuesday, this week it was all about the authors we've read the most books from. Some of mine may come as a surprise! 
• I decided to continue with my Little Miss series, I made a Little Miss Daredevil post where I shared a bunch of books I've read or want to read which are out of my comfort zone
• Since I like reading big books but neglect them I made a 'on reading big books' post with tips and tricks when reading big books
• On Friday I shared two book beginnings instead of one: The Monkey's Secret and More Than This 
• Yesterday I decided to write a letter to all the books I'll never read!

What to look forward to in the coming week

• Tomorrow I'll post a review and a giveaway of The Violet Hour (The Violet Hour #1) by Andrea L. Wells. I loved this book and I'm so glad that one of my lucky readers are going to read it too! 
• On Tuesday I'll share my top ten auto-buy authors! 
• Andrew Joyce was so kind to ask me if he could do a guest post on my blog and I of course said yes! So on Wednesday there'll be a post about Molly Lee, his book, and a giveaway where two of you can win a copy! 
• On Thursday I have another review coming your way; Black Cairn Point by Claire McFall! 
• As usual there'll be a book beginnings post with a beginning of one of the books I've read that week!
• Lastly there'll be a post listing all the series I won't finish on Saturday!

Sunday Post : ARC August, booktubeathon and a lot more!

It haven't been an eventful week at all, I've participated in booktubeathon the last week or so and I haven't really done anything else than read and write reviews. 

ARC August update

Since I'm participating in ARC August I figured I'd do a weekly wrap up in my Sunday Post instead of a separate post! In the first week I did quite alright but I could've read a ton more, but I wasn't really in the mood to read that much.

I finished 6 books and began 2 others; The Golden Braid and Black Cairn Point. I have written reviews for each of the books and I've even shared the first chapter of The Violet Hour.

• I shared the top ten fairytale retellings I want to read with a bunch of other people! I'm still looking at other people's Top Ten Tuesday posts for this week to see if there's any fairytale retellings which spark my interest. 
• Going to university, dreams and my future was my first truly personal post here on the blog!
• I made a list of all my embarrassing unread books, feel free to judge and tell me which book I should read ASAP
• The author of The Violet Hour let me share the first chapter in her book! 
• In honour of booktubeathon I wanted you to meet my favorite booktubers! 
• Lastly I've had a booktubeathon, TBR and daily progress post going on through the entire week and later it will be updated with a wrap up! 

What to look forward to in the coming week

• I'm going to read some more! I finally received 5 of review books in the mail and I'm really looking forward to reading those! 
• The 5books7days which Lotte is hosting on instagram. I still have to figure out whether or not I want to participate but I have a feeling I'm going to.
