#FridayReads

#FridayReads was originally brought over from Twitter by BunnyCates on youtube. I however, wanted to bring it over to blogs, since I like to find out about new books, and I think #FridayReads is a quick, fun and easy way to find out about new books! Also, know what people are reading, and that way having an idea about upcoming reviews!

The Final Empire (Mistborn, #1)Girl, Interrupted    Antigoddess (Goddess War, #1)

The Final Empire (Mistborn #1) by Brandon Sanderson I am about 150 pages in so far, and I love it. Since it is epic/high fantasy, it is a "tough" read, especially because I have to remember a bunch of things - but it is a really great book!
Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen I have to read this for a book club, so far I have read about 50 pages, and it is great so far. It is an autobiography about her being in a mental hospital in the sixties.
Antigodddess (Goddess War #1) by Kendare Blake This is my bookbuddy read for February, so I have to start reading it soon. I have read a chapter of it, and so far it is interesting. I think I have been missing some mythology - so this will be great!

What are you reading today/this weekend?

#FridayReads

#FridayReads was originally brought over from Twitter by BunnyCates on youtube.

School starts on Monday, and I have some things I have to take care of before that. But since me and my boyfriend are at his house - I cannot take care of those things - which means I have the whole day dedicated to reading.

Isprinsessen (Patrik Hedström, #1)The Final Empire (Mistborn, #1)

The Ice Princess (Fjällbacka / Patrik Hedström #1) by Camilla Läckberg - I have about 60 pages left, so I will probably start reading

What will you be reading this Friday and/or Weekend?

#FridayReads

#FridayReads was originally brought over from Twitter by BunnyCates on youtube.

I have a paper due on Monday, so I have to finish that Sunday - since me and my boyfriend have our 1st year anniversary tommorrow and I have promised him the entire day. Which essentially means, that I will not be reading very much - sadly.

But what I hope to atleast read a bit;
Let it Snow: Three Holiday RomancesCatching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)Twas the Night before Christmas and Other Christmas StoriesThe Silver Linings Playbook
Let it Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle -I have about 150 pages left of this one, meaning I have finished the 2 first stories in this one and they were great!
Catching Fire (Hunger Games #2) by Suzanne Collins - As I said last week, I just finished re-reading Hunger Games for the 2nd time and I started this one last weekend, so I hope to read a bit more in it... I am about 100 pages in (1st time re-reading it)
'Twas the Night before Christmas and Other Christmas Stories - I am really enjoying this!
Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick... I love everything that has something to do with Jennifer Lawrence, she is such a funny person! But I will read this sometime soon, hopefully start it this weekend, because it is a library book and I have to return it.

So what are you reading this Friday/weekend?

#FridayReads was originally brought over from Twitter by BunnyCates on youtube.

Since I finished Hunger Games earlier, which was originally one I wanted to finish during the weekend, I found some other ones that I have to read. So today and hopefully during the weekend, I will be reading:
Sorte SkæbnerTwas the Night before Christmas and Other Christmas StoriesBrave New WorldThe Rosie Project
Apparently I want to read white books this weekend.

Sorte Skæbner (translated: Black Faiths), which is a bind up of a bunch of narratives from slaves. It is only excerpts from their own books, but it is interesting anyway. Also, there is a chance I can use it in a paper that I have to write next week.

'Twas the Night before Christmas and Other Christmas Stories which is also a bind up, but this time it is obviously Christmas Stories. I have read 100 pages of it so far and I am really liking it. This book was on my Winter Reads list (link here).

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, I just checked this one out from the library and I cannot wait to read it. I believe there is some Hunger Games-esque feeling to it - not sure though.

I am not sure yet but I may begin to read The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. The summary is in a way intriguing, but not really.. But my library had it, so I figured why not.

There is also a chance that I am going to read Catching Fire since I just finished Hunger Games and I am craving the series.

What are you going to read today/this weekend?

#FridayReads + a quick update

FridayReads was originally brought over from Twitter by BunnyCates on youtube. I have not seen it on blogs, but I thought it would be fun to bring to this blog also.

Today (and through out the weekend) I am going to be reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth, since it just came out. When I finish it - if I finish it, I will probably read The Cuckoo's Calling by J.K Rowling and some in Zombies vs. Unicorns.

I am in a bit of a reading slump right now... I have a major book hangover because of Unbreakable by Kami Garcia. So I am having a hard time picking up a new book, because Unbreakable seriously blew my mind.

You can follow me on twitter if you want, I just made an account: @LttleMissReader
