My reading stack for March

This year I've been trying to make TBR's I actually stick to and I've found a solution! I'm calling it a 'reading stack' opposed to a TBR since I know I'm not going to read every single book from the list. It's basically books I can choose from instead of books I need to read. It gives me a bit more freedom and I definitely prefer that. Which is why it's not 3-5 books but about 10!
This time I've made a massive list of 10+ books so I definitely have something to choose from!

As you can see in the picture I have different categories and one book can be in multiple categories e.g. The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt is both 'high priority' and 'readalongs'. I'll write a post all about it soon but I thought I'd give you a bit of inspiration!

I have 14 books this time to be precise and I hope I can get through the majority! There's a single eARC, a library book, a couple of physical review books and the rest is my own!

The eARC I hope to read is Jane Steele by Lyndsay Faye. It's releasing this month on the 22. I believe. Last month I read Jane Eyre so I could delve into Jane Steele - which is a gothic retelling of Jane Eyre so I definitely feel the pressure to read it!

Next up I have The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt which is the book of the month from the stack my boyfriend choose for the year. You can read more about it here, but he basically chose 12 books from my shelves and assigned each of them to a month. I'm a bit over 200 pages in so far and it's definitely good!
I'm also reading this with a bunch of fellow bookstagrammers; i.reads, theclubofbooks, bookiewithoutborders, chika.reads, booksandskulls and symonebooks.

I actually have two books by Jane Austen in my stack this month! A bunch of Danish bloggers and readers are reading Sense and Sensibility this month on instagram since a new gorgeous Danish edition of it has just been released! And I also chose to put Persuasion on the list since it's one of her shorter books.
- I'm trying to get through my 20 before 20 list and both of these are on it!

A few extra picks which is a bit high priority as well;
I checked Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler out from the library in February so I need to read it this month!
I also have a book club book which is A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess!
My TBR Jar pick this month is A Room of One's Own / The Voyage Out by Virginia Woolf

Lastly I have 5 books in my 'want to read' category
  • About Grace by Anthony Doerr which I just bought the other day!
  • The entire Shamer Chronicles which consists of 4 books but I have two bindups with two books in each!
  • The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart which I bought in February and I'm soo intrigued by it!
  • Lastly I have The Common Reader by Virginia Woolf because I love A Room of One's Own! And this is also essays about reading.

The review books I can choose from this month are;
  • Jane Steele by Lyndsay Faye
  • I'm Still Here by Clélie Avit
  • and a Danish book called Skæbnegudinden fra Salon d'Amour by Anna Jansson

Which book are you looking forward to read this month? I'm definitely looking forward to reading The Common Reader
